Elite Flooring Contractors was founded in January 2003 by Jay Bivins and Todd Batchelor, who recognized a need for dependable, high-quality flooring solutions in the Macon, Georgia area. With years of industry experience and a shared commitment to excellence, the two set out to build a company grounded in craftsmanship, integrity, and professional service.
While Jay Bivins has since retired, his role as co-founder was instrumental in laying the foundation for the values and standards that define Elite Flooring Contractors today. From day one, our team has been focused on delivering exceptional work and building lasting relationships—with clients, vendors, and within our own company. Several of our original team members remain with us to this day, a reflection of the positive and stable environment we’ve worked hard to maintain.

Elite Flooring Contractors has since evolved to specialize exclusively in commercial flooring, proudly serving industries such as healthcare, education, retail, corporate, and more. With decades of experience and a deep understanding of complex project requirements, we deliver flooring solutions that meet the highest standards of durability, safety, and design.
Operating out of our Second Street location in Downtown Macon, Georgia, we continue to grow while staying true to our roots. Over the years, our service area has expanded—reaching from Middle Georgia to Atlanta, Georgia, and across the Southeast and beyond.
